This M&E Buyer role is for one of the country’s top contractors who over the last 15+ years have maintained a reputation for quality. You will be involved in a variety of exciting projects across the country and will play an instrumental part in the Supply Chain department.
Routes to progress are there for you to grab with both hands and staff retention is extremely high so you will be able to develop meaningful relationships from your colleagues and collaborate and learn from them.
As M&E Buyer, you will be:
- Forecasting levels of demand for services and products
- Negotiating pricing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Researching products and suppliers to identify the best value, quality and delivery time scales
- Attending meetings and trade conferences
- Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, customers and internal departments
We would love to speak to people who are currently working within the Building Services Sector as an M&E Buyer, Senior Buyer, Procurement Assistant or M&E Buying Assistant. Finally, if you have any of the following qualifications, we would love to hear from you: HND, BSc, or MSc in Quantity Surveying or MEP Commercial Management.
As an M&E Buyer your salary will be within the £34-38K region.
