HR Business Partner

About the role:
- Offer a high quality HR support service to the Directors, Regional Managers and other key stakeholders
- Oversee employee relations issues for our clients brand ensuring that senior management and Directors are properly advised and supported in operating within the framework of the Company's HR policies
- Develop and deliver training to senior colleagues to ensure that they are properly equipped with the necessary tools to carry out their responsibilities in relation to the management of people - most notably in relation to performance management, disciplinary and grievance cases.
- In conjunction with key stakeholders, identify any requirements for the coaching of individual managers in relation to the people management aspects of their roles, and work with such managers to address their coaching needs.
- In conjunction with key stakeholders, assess the levels of performance and contribution of managers in the business, to identify any placement concerns.
- Work with key stakeholders to develop a robust succession plan for significant roles within the organisation.
- Work with key stakeholders to identify and address any performance management issues, to ensure that colleagues are providing the optimum levels of performance in their roles.
- Provide accurate and up to date HR reports to inform business decisions and contribute to the departmental board report
- CIPD qualified
- Previous experience at a Business Partner level across a multisite retail operation ideally in an assisted sales environment Change management and culture change experience
- Commercially aware
- Excellent influencing skills and a proven track record of working with/influencing Directors and other senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to develop a good understanding of business issues and how to identify and deliver HR interventions and solutions to meet business needs
- Successful experience of managing and developing people towards high performance
- Experience of developing HR strategy, policy and procedures
- Considerable experience of addressing and solving employee relations problems
- Proven ability to communicate with and influence managers at all levels to develop credible working relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
