Coffee Field Service Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading name within the coffee/espresso machine industry. Our clients are a market leader in the manufacture of professional coffee machines, and due to large growth, they are looking to drive a best in class level of service and increase their field engineer base. They are seeking a positive and enthusiastic Coffee Field Service Engineer to join their team.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Install, commission and set up the commercial coffee equipment
• Perform pre-planned preventative maintenance services
• Attend re-active break down and repair call outs
• Operator training (e.g. operation and cleaning of coffee equipment)
• Self-sufficient management of spare parts stock holding in service van
• To manage and supply timely paperwork, including full completion of service reports (with photos if required)
• To support colleagues and engage pro-actively with all areas of the business
• Monday - Friday and 1 in 4 weekends working on call

Package:

• Salary up to £30,000 dependent upon experience.
• Full training supplied then joining the 1-4 weekend rota once signed off
• Weekly overtime rate is £22:50 per hour after 47.5 hours (explained below)
• Weekend overtime rate is £22:50 per hr
• Bank holiday overtime rate is £30 per hr plus an additional £50 standby
• 40 hours standard working week plus 2.5 hours per week unpaid lunch break. Plus 5 hours travelling time paid at £10 per hour
• Non-Contributory company pension scheme (company pays 9%)
• Annual bonus scheme. (5% potential of basic salary)
• Death in Service. 4 times annual salary to nominated persons
