Entrepreneurial and agile Retail business is seeking an Estates Manager. Ideally you will be a Chartered Surveyor and now work with a property team within retail environment. This is a highly commercial role and is key to the continued growth of the business. Reporting into the CFO you will be leading the UK wide company property strategy.
You'll liaise with external resources in respect of property financial management (rent, insurance and service charges) and also with solicitors, landlords, tenants, consultants, insurers, contractors as required.
You'll maintain an up-to-date Estate Management Schedule and regularly issue to all interested parties and also maintain reports from external consultants on lease renewals, rent reviews, building surveying matter and company.
You'll obtain Landlord consent for tenant alterations by way of a Licence to Alter and carry out lease renewals or rent reviews (or instruct and liaise with external consultants to carry out the same).
You'll deal with new store acquisitions, store disposals, sub lettings, dilapidation matters as allocated and provide budget and other reports to finance colleagues on rent, rates, insurance and other service charges.
