Accounts Payable Administrator - Polish speaking

The AP Administrator is part of a team responsible for ensuring that the Company's financial status, in terms of its payment record and relationships with suppliers, as well as internal customers, remains high. This means that all paperwork into the department is an important responsibility for the AP Administrator. The AP Administrator will ensure that invoice processing is completed accurately and efficiently.

Within this role you will be responsible for managing all incoming invoices relating to our store operations across Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Luxembourg, and will use your Polish language skills to deal with queries from suppliers and build strong relationships.

The core areas of responsibility for the AP Administrator include:

  • Processing of invoices using Oracle to include scanning, coding, gaining approval and timely payment of vendors
  • Investigating and resolving any discrepancies
  • Dealing with supplier queries and reconciliations; working to build strong relationships and ensuring we are meeting

payment terms

  • Processing employee travel expenses ensuring timely payment
  • Ad hoc involvement in projects focused on continuous improvement of the AP and wider finance function

Is this role for me?

To be considered for this role we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Strong administration skills gained within a financial environment
  • Polish language skills that can be used when conversing with colleagues and suppliers in those regions
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. You will ideally have a grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • A desire to pursue a career in Finance
  • The ability to build strong and effective working relationships with suppliers
  • A methodical approach to manage a high volume of work whilst ensuring key deadlines and deliverables are met
