The difference our New Sourcing Manager will make
As the focal point for the Programme and Project leads you will be responsible for a small team of buyers driving performance and value opportunities across the projects.
The Senior Buyer will work with the Operational Procurement Manager and Strategic Procurement Manger to deliver
* Identified value opportunities and levers
* Supply Chain Design
* Supplier Relationship Management
* Operational Excellence and reporting
* Governance Compliance
* Cross Business Projects.
Who we're looking for

You should have considerable experience in a Supply Chain role, preferably in a Defence or Engineering environment with experience of negotiation of pricing and terms
Skills and attributes
You should have strong analytical skills to analyse data and make decisions and be able to read and understand technical drawings and have the ability to communicate complex requirements to / from supply chain will be an advantage. We are looking for someone self-motivated with a flexible approach to workload with the ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
Education and qualifications
You should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and membership of a relevant professional body, for example the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply at a Level 4 or above.
