Salary/Rate:
£28,000 - £32,000/annum DOE

Our client is looking for a Menswear Designer, to join their design team in the Birmingham office. The role will be, full-time. We are looking for somebody who has industry experience.

What you’ll be doing:
· Designs across all product ranges
· Ability to CAD/tech-packing ideas fast on Adobe illustrator.
· Research into new design ideas, trend colours.
· Identifying clear trends for collections.
· Interpret and design ideas for exclusive ranges in line with the brand aesthetic.
· Creates Workbooks for samples and production – (sketch/ initial spec/ technical drawings/ fabric information)
· Actioning comments on samples to the factory and production manager.
· Ability to priortise manage multiple deadline and cope with heavy workloads and strict deadlines.
· Confident, clear and enthusiastic when presenting ranges to the senior team.
· To be a problem solver who can fix issues immediately whilst still ensuring high quality of all outcomes.
· Be able to communicate with manufacturers on all things ranging from tech packs to print issues and sample comments.

What we need:
· Fashion Design degree
· Experience working as a menswear designer
· Excellent Computer Skills including Microsoft office & CAD: Photoshop, Adobe & Illustrator
· Quick CAD drawing skills
· Highly organised & motivated
· Have a high level of attention to detail.
· Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to multiple deadlines.
· Great understanding of the brand and customer
· Innovative and always ahead of the trends 
· Strong Team player & passionate for the brand and its success.
· A positive can-do attitude.
