Concept Resourcing are pleased to be partnered again with a Public Sector client who need the support of a PART TIME Interim Category Manager to cover their Technology category.

This is a PART TIME opportunity so are looking for someone who is open to work 2-4 days per week depending on the project life cycle / procurement activity requirements.

This is an interim contract that is INSIDE IR35 and will run for c 3 months (potential for extension) with a day rate of up to £400 on offer. This role will be home based but may require occasional travel into the office in line with government guidance.

My client is looking for a confident professional with a proven track record of end to end procurement within the public sector. We're looking for someone who can challenge internal stakeholders where needed so communication is key. You will be responsible for creating tender packs (requirements, bid rules, evaluation criteria, etc), writing bid documents and facilitating procurement activity through E-tendering.

To be successful in the role you must have the following:

  • Solid Public Sector experience
  • Knowledge of PCR2015 with evidence of facilitating large tenders
  • Flexibility to work on a part time basis to support the contract
  • MCIPS qualified or working towards CIPS
  • Relevant experience in Technology Procurement - Ideal not essential
  • Sound knowledge of procuring life cycle
