An Accounts Receivable Supervisor is required to work for a listed FMCG business, based in West London, with remote working available. This is an opportunity to work for a globally recognised brand which has grown significantly in the past 18 months having successfully acquired a well-known business in 2020, this has further strengthened their market presence.
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 3 as well as working in a hands-on role where you will be managing the accounts receivable process for 2 international entities. Process improvement will play a significant part in this role, you will be expected to implement new processes in and drive efficiency within the department.
Accounts Receivable Supervisor responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing a team of 3 Accounts Receivable Clerks
- Taking ownership for the accounts receivable process, including cash application for 2 international entities
- Co-ordinating the month-end reporting for all international entities and reporting this to the Accounts Receivable Manager
- Deputising for the Accounts Receivable Manager when necessary
- Working as a main point of contact within accounts receivable at year-end
- Implementing new processes throughout the department and driving efficiencies
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in an Accounts Receivable Supervisor role and will have proven team management experience. Ideally you will have worked for an international business where you have managed cash application as part of your role. Knowledge of SAP is a pre-requisite for this role as is knowledge of pivot tables and v lookups in Excel. You must have proven experience of implementing new accounts receivable processes to be considered. You will be process-driven and proactive in nature in order to thrive and develop in this role.
