Our client is an e-commerce based business who are seeking a Ecommerce Retail Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting a career position which offers personal development and growth within the business. Working hours will be 9.30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday with no weekends or evenings therefore offering a great work/life balance.

Joining a friendly small team, you will benefit from 28 days annual leave and pension auto enrolment after the probation period. Location is commutable with good bus and train links, however parking is available. Dress code is casual. Annual starting salary is between £18.5K (£10.16 phr) and £20K (£10.99 phr) based on experience for a 35 hour week.

This is not a call centre or typical retail shop environment, but if you have experience within an ecommerce business such as trade suppliers, eBay/Amazon or web based product sales with fast stock turnover, this job will offer career development and is perfect for you.

Duties will include:

Act as primary point of contact for online and mail order customers, answering phone and email enquiries, resolving complaints and processing orders in an efficient and timely manner.

Develop in-depth knowledge of products to inform your customer service.

Process and fulfil online and phone orders, including picking, packing and labelling for dispatch.

Unpack and process daily deliveries, process returns and keep storage areas organised and easy to navigate.

Fulfil any other role duties as directed.

Experience/ Skills:

Retail or sales admin background

Customer Service

Physically fit and able to unpack and process deliveries and manoeuvre stock between storage areas.

Computer Literate

Good telephone manner
