The Role

Area Sales Manager - Wales & South West England

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join our passionate and knowledgeable team as the Area Sales Manager. This exciting role will see you develop and implement a targeted sales plan for the agreed geographical area to deliver increased market share and a preferential product mix at best possible price through team work and customer relationship building across channels, functions, the wider business and active engagement with core trade customers.

What will I be doing in the role?

In the role as an Area Sales Manager you will;

  • Develop specifications with customers from architects and designers to distributors and contractors
  • Identify and develop new target customers and projects
  • Conduct presentation to key clients of Ecophon projects
  • Utilize our CRM system to capture customer and project intelligence
  • Negotiate with decision makers at all levels within commercial guidelines
  • Provide accurate reporting and forecasting
  • Work closely to support other sales colleagues with regard to technical expertise where appropriate

For the Area Sales Manager specifically it is important that you have:

  • Experience in specification / business to business sales
  • A technical understanding of drawings and plans
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent presentation skills and an ability to engage and influence
  • A proven sales records
