Our high profile Aberdeen client has an exciting position for a Bilingual Buyer (English/German) to join their team on a permanent basis:
The purpose of the role is procuring products and services for clients daily. Be responsible for overseeing a team in Aberdeen and the team in the Germany office. You must be able to travel to client sites within Europe.
Duties and responsibilities:
Source and supply goods
Achieve targets and negotiate discounts to enhance profit
Seek new suppliers to enhance supply chain
Ensure queries, customs paperwork etc is provided in a timely manner
Assist with tender pricing to ensure market competitiveness
Ensure systems are up to date at all times
Develop customer relations with new and existing clients
