As a Sourcing Specialist for a leading Group Purchasing Organisation within the healthcare industry, you’ll negotiate preeminent national agreements, ensuring your members, the NHS and healthcare providers receive best in class industry pricing and contract terms.

If you have knowledge of OJEU processes, category management experience and end-to end procurement cycle experience, then we want to hear from you!

Salary:                   £30,000 - £34,000

Location:              Birmingham, West Midlands

Hours:                   37.5 hours a week Monday – Friday

Your role will involve category management across pharmaceutical and medical categories, along with engaging with suppliers and stakeholders across the business.

Along with continued project management tasks, you’ll lead the sourcing process for your assigned category, including market research, bid preparation, RFI, strategy development & validation and contract negotiation.

This is a fast-paced role, and ideally you will have prior healthcare knowledge or experience with a CIPS qualification, however we are open to all applicants with previous category management experience.
