Amrita Nutrition has been supplying practitioners and their clients with premium quality health supplements for over 10 years. With year on year growth the business is looking to strengthen the team with the introduction of an experienced Finance Officer.

As Finance Officer you will be responsible for the implementation, integration and development of all internal finance systems to provide real time, accurate information to all users in the business.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and Chief Finance Officer your role will include the following responsibilities:

Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledger

• Import E-trading transactions
• Reconcile daily (sales to payments), follow up differences
• Create and issue trade account invoices
• Credit check trade customers
• Credit control (chasing payments)
• Monthly reconciliations

• Create / reconcile purchase orders
• Match / analyse / code / post purchase invoices
• Payment runs
• Ensure all transactions posted and correctly coded
• Salary postings (from BHP journal)

Banking, VAT and commissions

• Daily bank reconciliations – all accounts
• FX planning – ie match estimated future POs to $ account
• Postings to Sage
• Cash flow forecasting
• Credit card analysis and posting

• VAT returns

• Monthly practitioner commission calculation

Person Specification 

Education and Qualifications

• Minimum AAT in Accountancy – Level 4 desirable
• Commitment to personal development
• Sage Line 50

Experience

• 2 years’ experience in a similar role

• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to meet key deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a close team and with external stakeholders
• Self-motivated and capability to undertake own workload with accuracy
• Able to work unsupervised
• Interest in the naturopathic health sector
