As a Procurement Specialist for a leading Group Purchasing Organisation within the healthcare industry, you’ll negotiate national agreements, ensuring your members, the NHS and healthcare providers receive best in class industry pricing and contract terms.

If you have knowledge of the end-to-end procurement cycle, along with experience in category or contract management, then we would love to hear from you.

Salary:                  £30,000 - £34,000

Location:              Birmingham, West Midlands (temporary home working during pandemic) 

Hours:                  37.5 hours a week Monday – Friday

In this role, you’ll work within the workforce solutions department, sourcing the very best agency and bank staff contracts for the business. You’ll engage with suppliers, stakeholders, develop revenue and carry out project work, so top-notch organisation skills are key!

Here you’ll lead the sourcing process for your assigned category, including market research, bid preparation, RFI, strategy development & validation and of course, contract negotiation.

This is a fast-paced role, and ideally you will have prior healthcare industry knowledge or experience with a CIPS qualification.
