The focus of this role is to grow Marketplace Partnerships revenue in line with the commercial plans. The role will maximise the commercial performance of a group of categories using sales analytics from external marketplace data on Traffic, Conversion and Order Value. It will work with the fulfilment operation to measurably improve the operational performance against the seller metrics set out on the marketplace. The role will work closely with Commercial, Marketing and eComm teams to translate the category strategies into Marketplace strategy and execution.
⦁ Owning Marketplace insights at a macro level and using these to communicate opportunity to the wider business. These include Traffic, Conversion and AOV metrics as well as category level funnel dynamics.
⦁ Create development roadmaps to deliver value to customer experience whilst driving sales
⦁ Using product level data (page views, conversion, traffic sources, pricing, availability) on and offsite to drive performance insights.
⦁ Work alongside Marketplace accounts traffic teams to ensure that traffic quality and quantity are optimised at all times (search, affiliation, social, email, direct)
⦁ Identify opportunities for proposition development
⦁ Executing in-season promotions alongside internal commercial and marketing teams.
⦁ Develop and manage category KPI dashboard and reporting metrics
⦁ Produce commercial focussed content and insight for weekly, period and quarterly business reviews
⦁ Providing where appropriate and required detailed and robust analysis to inform the Marketplace Development plan
⦁ Line management responsibility for one person, overseeing the execution of weekly merchandising and marketing activities on-site
⦁ Exceptional relationship management skills at Identify profitable growth opportunities via market knowledge and experience
⦁ Excellent project management skills
⦁ Ability to influence across multiple disciplines to drive initiatives forward quickly and achieve key stakeholder buy in
⦁ Online retailing (in particular online category management/trading)
⦁ Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel.
⦁ At least 2 years’ experience working within a FMCG/Fashion or Hard Goods fast paced retailer
