A leading provider of FMCG products require a Retail Sales Strategy Consultant to help break into the UK retail industry across all channels such as main UK retailers (Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Morrisons, etc) and the convenience chains / independents.
The Retail Sales Strategy Consultant must come from a proven background of helping FMCGS break into new markets / channels, and will be responsible for creating a go to market strategy for SNAMs and Field Sales Teams to create Sales Strategies, NPD strategies, Point of Sale and Marketing Strategies. Using knowledge of retail operations and data from a variety of source such as EPoS, Loyalty Schemes and 3rd party Market Research Consultancies, the Retail Strategy Consultant with use insight and take a Qual and Quant approach to develop strategies across various channels (through both SNAMs and Field Sales) with a view to drive revenue long term.
Offered on an initial 3-6 month contract, the potential for extension long term is very realistic assuming the strategies yield the expected market penetration and revenue growth.
