Purpose of Role
The Contract Analyst is responsible for entering, reviewing, analysing, tracking and generating reports on the current status of all our contracts stored within a contract management system. The main area of responsibility is Global IT, but there are contracts for other areas such as E-Commerce, Supply Chain and Facilities Management.
Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees regarding contract status
Facilitate weekly meetings with contract owners and legal to discuss new and urgent contract review
Track and report on contract terms and end dates to avoid service interruptions
Validate that services have been rendered or equipment received
Track new contracts from beginning thru execution
Work closely with our legal team to standardize language for new contracts
Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with company policy.
Reviews contracts and purchase agreements to ensure vendor compliance
Recommend financial actions by analyzing and reviewing contract data
Assists with creation of the annual global IT capital and operating budgets
Educate and train new employees on our contract software and policies
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Experience working with and managing contracts
Understanding of Contract Management Software and Structure
Attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct standard contract practices
Basic IT Terminology
Working knowledge of accounting principles
Flexibility and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and remote if necessary
