Stores Controller - Sheffield
Ash Consulting are working with a growing local business that provide a comprehensive range of engineering consumables, tools and sub contract machining services.
The Stores Controller will be required to provide an efficient, competent service between the warehouse, sales team and the engineers whilst focusing on the important objectives of forecasting and stock replenishment. As the Stores Controller you will be dealing with goods in, checking deliveries, maintaining stock levels and reducing wastage. You will also be ordering new parts to ensure the effective movement of stock for both internal requirements and for dispatch to customers.
Key Duties: -
Effective Forecasting and stock replenishment
The effective extraction of sales data and working with stakeholders to ensure on time delivery
The forecasting of required stock to ensure what is required to be ordered and when for.
You will be dealing with both UK and Overseas suppliers by telephone, Email
Regular communication with suppliers and internal staff
Effective dealing with returns or warranty requests
We require relevant stock control/stock/stores admini experience
You will possess strong communication skills
We require an organised personable able to meet the demands of the role
Strong hands on IT skills with particular strengths in Microsoft Office applications
