JobsRetail collects information on the age of candidates to ensure that our clients can comply with age discrimination laws.
The Government guidelines suggest that recruiters check how many candidates there are in each age group at each stage of the recruitment process to ensure that they fully comply. It is necessary for us to collect this information in order to pass it on.
JobsRetail itself does not do anything with the age data. All applications and registrations are processed by computers which ignore the age values.
