We supply the latest technology to various locations throughout the UK and Europe with our prestigious clients predominantly being within Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), Highways, Airports and Power sectors.

What we need from you… We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, self-driven Stores & Workshop Coordinator to join our dynamic team during our current phase of rapid growth. This is a newly created role— a blank canvas waiting for the right individual to apply their experience and skills to.

As our Stores & Workshop Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, collaborating across various departments to create and implement our processes. You will orchestrate the seamless flow of goods, from receipt and storage to allocation and distribution. You’ll ensure that every item is in its rightful place, conducting meticulous inspections of goods and equipment and carry out basic maintenance tasks around the office to maintain our high-quality standards.

Your main role will entail:

  • Inbound and outbound goods handling.
  • Goods inwards checks and inspections to verify the quality and condition of received parts and materials.
  • Allocating space in stores for goods received and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensuring the stores area is kept in a suitable manner for access, storing and security.
  • Pick items from stores and issue them to production team.
  • Prepare and pack items for shipments to customers.
  • Signing in and out tools and equipment, maintaining accurate records of their usage and whereabouts.
  • Carry out regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met.
  • Space management of Development Area.
  • Facilities and fleet maintenance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Good housekeeping.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Be physically able to move stock and operate equipment such as pallet trucks (training to be provided).
  • Full UK manual driving license.
