We are recruiting for a Marketing Assistant with experience in catalogue copy and print production to join a well-established multi-site retail business that supply specialist tools and machinery based at their Head Office in Nottingham City Centre.
This Marketing Assistant role is a permanent position working Monday to Thursday 8.30am-6pm, and Fridays 8.30am-5pm offering a salary of £28-30k per annum dependent on experience plus benefits as below.

As Marketing Assistant, reporting into the Marketing Manager, you will be supporting a busy marketing department with Catalogue Production and Print Marketing with the following responsibilities:
- Control the critical project flow of product related content from multiple suppliers
- Proof reading and copy writing for the company catalogue
- Gathering & assessing suitability of supplier technical specifications
- Identifying key selling points of products
- Ensure technical specification and images are accurate to meet print ready specifications
- Marketing asset collations and development
- Deliver artwork briefs for the external studio
- Communicate ideas and feedback from the wider team to studio designers as required
- Coordinate the recording of catalogue proposal product information for delisted/new products
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working within a Marketing Assistant or Marketing Executive role or similar
- You will be a highly proficient administrator
- Experience in proof reading and copy writing
- Previous catalogue production project experience desired but not essential
- Strong IT experience - MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience in Photoshop, InDesign or Adobe Suite will be advantageous, but not essential
- Excellent written skills with a keen attention for detail and accuracy is essential
- Knowledge of, or an enthusiasm for the DIY/ Tools market would be desirable, or experience in marketing a technical product
