A fantastic company, established for over 100 years, but a name you might not be familiar with, is looking for a permanent Hard Services Estimator to join them on a permanent basis.

The role will see you analysing tender documents, working from asset lists and PPM requirements to produce cost models.

You may have been doing this job within FM for many years now and be looking for a change – this role will offer you that, as the company doesn’t just work in everyday FM, but they work in technical services and engineering services too, so there is scope to work in other areas outside of traditional facilities management.

Alternatively you may be only a year or so into your career, and have exposure to pricing exercises, labour loading, cost modelling, and using planned maintenance costing spreadsheets, but feel far from the finished article!  You will be supported and mentored in your journey to become one of the best known Estimators in the industry.


Role & Responsibilities

• Read and understand client requests.
• Use company Estimating system to verify validity of bids.
• Formulate bids based on BDM brief where required.
• Obtain specialist subcontractor costs.
• Labour loading of asset information.
• Attend site visits as required across the UK as part of the bid process.
• Identify cost saving initiatives, maximise profitability and improve operational efficiencies.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable proven relevant work experience within M&E PPM cost modelling.
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Due to the security vetting requirements of the Contract, applicants must have the ability to obtain unrestricted SC Clearance.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Benefits Summary;
Salary of circa £65k plus Car Allowance and benefits
